Our Story

Bulldog Bacon started with a passion for flavor and a love for creativity. What began as a backyard experiment with a smoker quickly turned into an obsession—one that would redefine what bacon could be.

Founder and chef, Brendan Keller, has spent more than 20 years in the food industry, working in a variety of restaurants, from high-end gourmet comfort food to vegan and vegetarian-focused menus. Currently the sous chef at Moe Joe's in Plainfield, IL, he brings his deep culinary expertise and innovative approach to every batch of Bulldog Bacon. Beyond the kitchen, Brendan is a dedicated husband and father of two, cat and French Bulldog dad, an avid skateboarder, and passionate traveler.
